INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY AT OUR UNIVERSITY

We have made the day come true. 3000 Air Wing NCC Cadets of Chennai have enthralled the viewers by demonstrating Yoga on the occasion of the International Yoga Day at VEL TECH UNIVERSITY, Avadi, Chennai. The beautiful vast campus of the University was fully covered with white blanket of students in yoga !! The cadets were highly enthusiastic to be a part of a record-making event. For the first time in history, Chennai have witnessed the largest-ever demonstration of yoga by the NCC cadets in uniform. The day has proved the Strength of UNITY among the youth irrespective of their caste and religion. Cadets from most of the schools and colleges of Chennai have participated. The 33mins programme have started by 7.00 am and ended by 7.33 am. Prof. Beela Satyanarayana, Vice Chancellor and Dr E.Kannan, Registrar, Vel Tech University have Witnessed the programme and certified. Col.Prof.Dr.Vel.R.Rangarajan, Founder-Chancellor & President support made the event a grand success. Gp Capt Girish, Commanding Officer 4 (TN) Air Sqn (TECH) NCC and Gp Capt C.Raj, Commanding Officer 1(TN) Air Sqn NCC have extended their complete support to make the cadets gather at Vel Tech University campus for the record making event.
